Another year goes by and another donation has been made on behalf of our customers to our favourite environmental charity – Trees for the Future.

The ‘Joonya forest’ is getting big, like REALLY big!

As a reminder, here is their heart-warming mission:

“Our mission is to end hunger and poverty by training farmers to regenerate their land.

How? It starts with trees. Through our 4-year training program, called the Forest Garden Approach, farmers plant thousands of trees that protect and bring nutrients back to the soil. This helps farmers grow a variety of fruits and vegetables. Forest Garden farmers gain increases in income and access to food, even in the first year, all while improving the environment.”

Thanks again for the orders that keep us funding planting of new trees – together its these small gestures that help to make a difference for the forests and their enjoyment by future generations (our babies!).
